I know that I couldn’t top last year’s, but this year’s looks like it is even bigger!
The right side got a little heavier than the left with the wave petunia, due to an early watering mishap. But other than that, they are looking awesome! They are super easy maintenance too! I had to use a ladder to clean off the canna flowers on top. That’s something that I have never had to do before. They get watered every third day. I water them all the way through, until the water is dripping through the drainage holes on the bottom. Every third time that I water them, I water them with water soluble fertilizer. I use Jack’s bloom booster.
A big deep windowboxes the way to go. It makes watering maintenance so much easier, and helps promote bigger plants and bigger results throughout the season!
this box here is 7 feet long by 12 inches deep by 12 inches wide. These were built with cedar. We are on our fifth year, and next year we will need to build new ones.
